My Top 25, Heisman votes

November, 12, 2013
Oregon and Marcus Mariota saw national title and Heisman hopes take massive dips this weekend, with Florida State and Jameis Winston turning out to be the biggest beneficiaries of the Ducks' loss at Stanford.

Alabama remains atop's power rankings, but Florida State is not far behind, with Ohio State and Baylor checking in at Nos. 3 and 4. Notre Dame's third loss of the season knocked the Irish out of the power rankings, as they did not receive a single vote. Winston, meanwhile, is the new frontrunner in Heisman Watch.

As for bowl projections, colleague Mark Schlabach picks Notre Dame to go to the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl against Utah State, while Brad Edwards has the Irish in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl against rival Boston College. (That's on New Year's Eve in Shreveport, La.)

Here is how I voted in this week's power rankings and in Heisman Watch. (Of note: I do not have a vote in the Associated Press poll or a vote for the Heisman Trophy.)
