And the winner is …

These past three weeks brought us another fun NCAA men's basketball tournament, with UConn ultimately busting (almost) everyone's brackets by taking down Kentucky in Monday night's title bout.

The exception, of course, is a loyal reader with the ESPN SportsNation username of "shue62."

"Shue62" correctly picked three of the four semifinalists from this past weekend, including the overall champion Huskies, making him or her the champion of this year's Notre Dame Blog Bracket Challenge. (It's OK, I had Louisville losing in the title game, too.) So now we have a new author of a post in this space right here, provided he or she gets in touch with me. You can do that in the mailbag here.

As for yours truly, well, it looked promising going into the second weekend, with all four of my Final Four teams still alive at that point. Florida, however, ended up being the only one of my Final Four picks to actually get that far. There's always next year ...
