We skipped the weekly session last week because, well, there was a ton of other recruiting news and analysis that took precedent the day after national signing day. Looking ahead, here's what's cookin' with the Class of 2013 and beyond, and where Notre Dame fits in.
- Well, still stuck on 2012 here: Notre Dame appears to be one of four schools still in the running for five-star athlete Davonte Neal (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral).
- Class of 2014 running back Sony Michel (Plantation, Fla./American Heritage) has offers from Notre Dame and several other national powers, our Corey Long writes.
- Notre Dame is one of 15 schools to offer ESPNU150 offensive tackle Ethan Pocic (Lemont, Ill./Lemont), our Jared Shanker writes.
- The Irish are also one of several to offer Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) Watch List wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood, Long writes.
- Notre Dame can expect a visit from five-star junior tight end Adam Breneman (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff), Shanker writes.
- Junior offensive lineman Colin McGovern (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) will visit Notre Dame on March 24, Shanker writes.
- Notre Dame has offered St. Pete Catholic (St. Petersburg, Fla.) running back Ryan Green, and it can expect a visit this summer, Long writes.
- Four-star OT Steve Elmer (Midland, Mich./Midland) is among ESPNU's early top 100 prospects for the class of 2013.
