Ernest Jones, Notre Dame's director of player development and engagement for the football administrative staff, is in stable condition and will remain overnight at Memorial Hospital of South Bend (Ind.) while undergoing evaluation and treatment for dehydration, the school announced early Sunday morning.

Jones became ill with roughly two hours remaining on the team's return charter flight from its season-opening game in Dublin, Ireland. Jones was transported to the hospital upon landing at Michiana Regional Airport around 11:50 p.m. Saturday.
