Following its first 2-0 start since 2008, Notre Dame moved up in both polls Sunday, coming in at No. 20 in the AP poll and No. 19 in the USA Today coaches' poll.

Notre Dame entered the weekend ranked 22nd in both polls.

BYU entered the AP poll this week at No. 25, elevating the already rugged strength of the Irish's remaining schedule. Three AP and coaches' poll top-10 teams await Notre Dame this season, with six among the AP Top 25 and five among the coaches' Top 25.

Stanford, which the Irish hosts on Oct. 13, shows the biggest disparity among voters in each poll, appearing at No. 21 in the AP poll and 16th in the coaches'.
