Raiders center Rodney Hudson is questionable to play at Detroit

Oakland Raiders standout center Rodney Hudson practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day Friday and is questionable to play at Detroit in Sunday.

Hudson sprained his ankle Nov. 8 at Pittsburgh. Thursday was his first field work since the injury. Barring a setback, Hudson should be able to play against the Lions. Tony Bergstorm made his first NFL start at center for Hudson in a loss to Minnesota last week.

Meanwhile, blocking tight end Lee Smith is doubtful to play against the Lions with a wrist injury. He did not practice all week. Smith is a key member of the Raiders’ run-blocking scheme.
