Here's a look at what the Pac-10's top Heisman Trophy candidates did over the weekend. This list will start to be whittled down starting next week. Or some other names could be added.

Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Oregon State: Rodgers rushed for 75 yards on 18 carries with a touchdown vs. TCU. He didn't catch any passes. It was a solid performance against a good run defense. Trending: Down.

Jake Locker, QB, Washington: Locker's numbers were solid but he didn't get the win at BYU. He completed 20 of 37 for 266 yards and a TD. He rushed 11 times for 29 years and a score. Trending: Down.

LaMichael James, RB, Oregon: Didn't play because of a suspension. Trending: Neutral.

Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford: Luck completed 17 of 23 passes for 316 yards with four TDs and no interceptions against Sacramento State. Trending: Neutral.

Nick Foles, QB, Arizona: Foles completed 32 of 37 passes for 360 yards with two TDs and an interception (which wasn't his fault; throw bounced off FB's hands) at Toledo. He also rushed for a score. Trending: Up.

Matt Barkley, QB, USC: Barkley completed 18 of 23 for 257 yards and five TDs with no interceptions at Hawaii. Trending: Up.

James Rodgers, WR, Oregon State: Rodgers caught four passes for 75 yards and a TD. He rushed twice for eight yards, returned four punts for 13 yards and five kickoffs for 114 yards. Trending: Neutral.
