Brian Price, DT, UCLA: Price earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors in 2008 as a true sophomore. He started five games as a freshman. Obviously, the 6-foot-2, 295-pounder is a talent. He's got size, speed and power, which is why he led all conference interior defensive linemen with 14 tackles for a loss last fall -- 12 in the last nine games -- to go along with 4.5 sacks and 35 total tackles. He has 21 tackles for a loss in his last 16 games dating to his freshman season. He also had an interception and blocked PAT last year. He came up big in big games, with two tackles for a loss vs. Tennessee and a forced fumble vs. USC, which set up the Bruins' only touchdown. Is he athletic? He played fullback for the offense in some goal-line situations. The junior obviously is a candidate to enter the NFL draft a year early, but he told the Orange County Register this week that he plans to stay for his senior season. We'll see. Things can change when a player is considered a potential first-round draft pick.
