Three Pac-10 teams made Mark Schlabach's Way-Too-Early Top 25 for 2011.
Schlabach has Oregon at No. 3, Stanford at No. 9 and Arizona State at No. 21.
That seems about right to me (full disclosure: Mark asked me for my take at the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game, and those are the teams I recommended).
You'll note no USC. That hasn't happened -- the Trojans left out of the preseason AP poll -- since 2001.
My hunch is USC will get some votes next preseason, but it will take one or two wins for the Trojans to get back into the poll.
Of course, if the NCAA drops its postseason ban after the USC appeal this month, my hunch then is the Trojans will be ranked in the first poll. Folks will pick up on that turn of events as highly motivating for the program.
