With just one day remaining until national signing day, and teams are scrambling.

Here are some updates, news and notes.
  • Touted tight end Junior Pomee out of Rancho Verde high school in Moreno Valley, Calif., has picked USC over Utah and Arizona, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. Pomee was once committed to UCLA. But Utah picked up a commitment from junior college receiver Anthony Denham (6-foot-6, 215 pounds) of East Los Angeles College in California. He picked the Utes over Central Florida.
  • Colorado picked up a commitment from defensive end Juda Parker of Honolulu, Hawaii (St. Louis). The 6-foot-2, 230-pound, three-star prospect was once committed to Tennessee. He also considered Oregon State, Hawaii, Baylor, Wyoming and New Mexico State, among others. The Buffaloes also got a commitment from 6-foot-3, 195-pound safety/outside linebacker Will Harlos of Somerset, Texas, who decommitted from Wake Forest.
  • Defensive back Byron Moore of Los Angeles Harbor CC, Calif., picked Tennessee over Miami. Moore, who prepped at Narbonne HS (Harbor City, Calif.), originally signed with USC transferring this summer as a redshirt freshman.
  • Lineman Brandon Tuliaupupu of Claremont HS (Claremont, Calif.) committed to UCLA after decommitting from Washington State. He was recruited by the Bruins for offense. The Cougars had offered for the defensive line. At 6-foot-1, 295-pounds, he also considered Kansas, New Mexico, UTEP, Wyoming and San Jose State. UCLA also got a commitment from 6-foot-8, 265-pound offensive lineman Will Oliver of Heritage high school (Brentwood, Calif.). Oliver had been committed to Sacramento State. He becomes the 11th pledge for the Bruins.
  • Outside linebacker/safety Dominique Petties from Duncan high school (Duncan, Okla.) committed to Arizona. He picked the Wildcats over Pittsburgh. Rated four-stars by ESPNU, the 6-foot-0, 210-pound standout also considered offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Tulsa
  • An update on linebacker Kent Turene (Lauderdale Lakes, Fla./Boyd Anderson), who decommitted from USC but is still considering the Trojans.
  • Arizona State lured a committed recruit away from Arizona: safety Ezekiel Bishop. Bishop, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound safety for Denver East High in Colorado, is the Sun Devils 14th commitment.
  • Greg Biggins on Oregon possibly poaching one of USC's top recruits, athlete DeAnthony Thomas.
  • Is lineman who decommitted from Washington State for Washington now eyeballing Colorado?
