Oregon State has become a highly competitive program mostly due to recruiting "diamonds in the rough." But the Beavers have no problem occasionally picking up a diamond in the fairway.

Corvallis (Ore.) High School offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo, a member of the ESPNU 150, has verbally committed to play football at Oregon State.

It probably helped that the 6-foot-3, 280-pounder is the son of OSU defensive line coach Joe Seumalo.

He was also offered by Arizona State, Boise State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.

Oregon State has six commitments.
