Who earned recognition this weekend?
USC quarterback Matt Barkley: The true freshman's numbers were pedestrian -- 15 of 31 for 195 yards and an interception. But he led the Trojans on their 14-play, 86-yard, game-winning touchdown drive against Ohio State. On the drive, he completed 3 of 5 passes for 55 yards as USC notched a huge 18-15 road win.
UCLA kicker Kai Forbath: Forbath connected on four of five field goals with a long of 47 in UCLA's 19-15 win at Tennessee. He's 6 for 7 for the year.
Arizona running back Nic Grigsby: Grigsby rushed for 207 yards on 15 carries against Northern Arizona. He had scoring runs of 25 and 30 yards. He also had a 94-yard run that didn't go for a touchdown.
Washington quarterback Jake Locker: Locker continues to look completely comfortable running a pro-style offense. He completed 17 of 25 for 253 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Huskies 42-23 win over Idaho, which ended the program's 15-game losing streak.
Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers: Rodgers rushed for 166 yards on 26 carries and caught 11 passes for 80 yards in the Beavers comeback win over UNLV. That's a pretty good multi-purpose day.
Oregon: The Ducks didn't play terribly well against an inferior Purdue team, but they won in thrilling fashion, 38-36. And that means a lot after the disaster at Boise State.
