You know how they say we only use 10 percent of our brains? I think we only use 10 percent of our hearts.
  • Arizona begins a key stretch that will define its season.
  • If Arizona State is about to have a QB controversy, it won't be the program's first. The Sun Devils did pick up a recruiting commitment.
  • The crisis at California includes looking up at Stanford in the Pac-10 pecking order.
  • Some notes from Oregon.
  • Oregon State got off the canvas at Arizona State, but Stanford will be another step up.
  • Speaking of the Cardinal, and to say it simply, Stanford is good. Here's a report card.
  • UCLA has a very good kicker, but the Bruins need to use him less for field goals and more for PATs. The grades weren't good for the Bruins.
  • The game is slowing down for USC QB Matt Barkley. Grading the effort at Cal. The Trojans get to rest before facing Notre Dame, which means getting healthy.
  • Is Washington going to downgrade its schedule? If any team has earned it, it's the Huskies. Also, more on the officiating at Notre Dame, which involved a Pac-10 crew on the field and a Big East one in the replay booth.
  • The numbers aren't good for Washington State.
  • An interesting picture leads Nick Daschel's Pac-10 report card.
