Updates based on news reports:
Arizona
Arizona is hoping a bye week helped a banged up team get healthy before visiting Washington. Running back Nic Grigsby (shoulder), running back Keola Antolin (ankle), defensive end Brooks Reed (ankle), offensive tackle Mike Diaz (concussion), offensive guard Vaughn Dotsy (concussion) and receiver Delashaun Dean (thigh bruise) are each worth watching, though coach Mike Stoops was optimistic all or most would return to practice this week.
Arizona State
The Sun Devils could get center Garth Gerhart (toe) and safety Ryan McFoy (foot) back for the visit to Washington State. Offensive linemen Zach Schlink (knee) and Matt Hustad (knee) are less likely to be ready.
California
California is off this week. Guard Matt Summers-Gavin (shoulder) missed the USC game but could return for the visit to UCLA on Oct. 17.
Oregon
Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli (knee) and right tackle C.E. Kaiser (shin) are "day to day," which is how coach Chip Kelly describes just about every injury. It also means they probably will miss at least some practice time and may not be ready for the visit to UCLA. Such vagueness inspired this amusing, insightful effort by Rob Moseley. Also, safety T.J. Ward (ankle) could be close to returning, though he didn't play at Washington State. Running back LaMichael James (ankle) and linebacker Michael Clay (hip) are expected to return to practice.
Oregon State
Linebacker Keaton Kristick may be in for a long season dealing with a neck stinger, which was aggravated at Arizona State. He's having an MRI this week but is expected to play against Stanford. A stinger is not a good injury to have when 240-pound tailback Toby Gerhart is coming to town. Neither running back Ryan McCants (knee) nor receiver Darrell Catchings (ankle) will be ready to play on Saturday.
Stanford
Stanford's depth at running back and defensive tackle has taken some hits of late. Neither Jeremy Stewart (knee) nor Blaise Johnson (shoulder) got carries against UCLA, while DT Brian Bulcke (wrist) joined Matt Masifilo (knee) on the injury list. Bulcke is done for the season after surgery.
UCLA
Quarterback Kevin Prince (jaw) will see a doctor on Wednesday and could start against Oregon. Safety Rahim Moore was knocked out of the Stanford game with a concussion. His MRI on Sunday was negative, so there's a chance he will be able to play Saturday. Cornerback Aaron Hester, who's been out the entire season with a fractured fibula, is running again but he won't play this weekend.
USC
Wide receiver Ronald Johnson (collarbone) will practice Tuesday and could see his first action after the bye week at Notre Dame on Oct. 17. Same goes for defensive end Armond Armstead (foot), who's been out since training camp, linebacker Malcolm Smith (ankle) and defensive end Nick Perry (knee).
Washington
Safety Justin Glenn is lost for the season with a broken leg. He also suffered ligament damage. Receiver D'Andre Goodwin and safety Nate Williams suffered concussions at Notre Dame. They are questionable for Arizona's visit. Receiver Devin Aguilar (knee) and linebacker E.J. Savannah (foot) didn't play at Notre Dame and are questionable.
Washington State
Freshman quarterback Jeff Tuel and receiver Jared Karstetter both suffered hip pointers at Oregon but should return to practice this week. Safety Xavier Hicks (back) should be OK, and offensive linemen Brian Danaher (concussion) and Zack Williams (ankle) should return after missing the Oregon game. Defensive tackle Bernard Wolfgramm (hip), tailback Dwight Tardy (shoulder) and offensive guard B.J. Guerra (knee) are questionable. Defensive end Kevin Kooyman (knee) is doubtful.
