Washington has made some changes and additions to its future schedules, and one move -- a 2011 date with Eastern Washington -- will be the program's first game against an FCS foe.
The future schedules also include home-and-away series with Wisconsin and Hawaii.
Washington will host Eastern Washington on Sept. 3, 2011 in the season-opening game for both teams. Washington has never faced EWU in program history, which began in 1889.
The EWU game replaces a home-and-away series against BYU that was originally scheduled for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. The canceled contract does not affect the 2010 matchup to be played in Provo. Washington is still looking for an opponent for its season-opener on Sept. 1, 2012.
The Huskies will face Hawaii on Dec. 7, 2013, in Honolulu and Sept. 19, 2015, at Husky Stadium. Washington has faced the Warriors just three times in history, the last meeting a 35-28 loss in 2007 in Honolulu. The two teams are scheduled to play the second game of that original series on Sept.10, 2011, at Husky Stadium.
Washington will travel to Madison, Wis., on Sept. 2, 2017, in the first of a home-and-away series against the Badgers. The Badgers will visit Husky Stadium on Sept. 1, 2018.
Washington has played Wisconsin four times, including the Huskies' first-ever Rose Bowl victory, a 44-8 win in 1960. The last time the two teams played, 2nd-ranked Washington defeated the Badgers 27-10 at Husky Stadium in 1992.
