Was out late last night doing research on the USC-Ohio State game at a number of think tanks -- that's why "Pac-10 Morning" became "Pac-10 lunch."

• This will shock you: USC-Ohio State is a hot ticket, and the Coliseum is getting dressed up for the big game. LA loves its Trojans... as long as they keep winning. And, what's the latest on Beanie's foot?
• Arizona TB Nic Grigsby isn't afraid to be a momma's boy.
• Arizona State will be thin at LB this weekend versus UNLV.
• California's defense has a quiet guy and a loud guy, but both get the job done.
• The Os (Oregon) head to the Ps (Purdue) wondering which zero will disappear. George Schroeder on the Ducks' "accidental QB." (Like the redesign Register-Guard -- way easier to navigate).
