UCLA's Kevin Prince, benched in the fourth quarter against Oregon, remains the Bruins starting quarterback, coach Rick Neuheisel told reporters Sunday.
Prince, a redshirt freshman making his first start since fracturing his jaw at Tennessee on Sept. 12, completed 13 of 25 passes for 81 yards with an interception that was returned for an Oregon touchdown.
He was replaced by true freshman Richard Brehaut, who completed five of 10 for 64 yards with an interception.
It's possible that Prince was still bothered by his jaw injury, and it's obvious the Bruins have more issues on offense than quarterback.
They rank 114th in the nation in total offense (282.8 yards per game) and 104th in scoring (20.2 ppg).
Oregon held UCLA to 211 total yards in a 24-10 Ducks win.
UCLA plays host to California on Saturday.
