Oregon was sloppy but completely dominant while trouncing Tennessee Tech 63-14.
The Golden Eagles actually scored first, going up 7-0 after the first of three Ducks turnovers. But the Ducks scored the next 49 points.
Oregon led 35-7 at the half and mostly coasted thereafter, playing a lot of folks in the second half. The 12 penalties for 105 yards didn't really matter.
The Ducks rolled up 652 yards. QB Marcus Mariota threw his first career interception, but he also completed 21 of 28 passes for 307 yards with four touchdowns.
De'Anthony Thomas was his spectacular self. He rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on three carries (20.3 ypc). He caught three passes for 73 yards and a TD (24.3 ypr). He also returned four punts for 86 yards (21.5 ypr).
The Ducks are now 3-0 and their preseason is over. Next weekend, Arizona visits.
