Halftime: Oregon State 16, UCLA 0

No post-USC hangover for Oregon State, which is dominating UCLA 16-0 at the half.

Same sharp Sean Canfield: He's 13 of 19 for 148 yards.

Same fancy Jacquizz Rodgers: He's got 75 yards on 13 carries. And a 14-yard TD pass.

And the defense is all over the Bruins, who have only 86 yards at the break.

UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince has played all but one possession and is 6 of 10 for 68 yards. Richard Brehaut played one series and didn't throw a pass -- he got sacked before he could (and fumbled, but UCLA recovered).

The only thing that might bother the Beavers is three first-half field goals instead of TDs.

And the only good thing for UCLA is no turnovers -- despite three fumbles -- and just one penalty.

So the Beavers look to be making their typical second-half surge.

And UCLA is on the cusp of opening Pac-10 play 0-5, which won't go over well in Westwood.
