EUGENE, Ore. -- Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott said there will be no decision this weekend on whether Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount is reinstated.
Scott will meet with Blount and Oregon coach Chip Kelly on Sunday. He also will meet with the school president and other officials, including athletic director Mike Bellotti.
Scott won't make a decision after those meetings, he said. He said he will await a formal presentation from Oregon on the school's preferred course of action, which likely would come early next week.
The Pac-10 office will have the final say on the matter.
Scott said any decision on whether Blount will play next weekend at Stanford will immediately be made public.
Blount has been suspended since punching a Boise State player after the Ducks-Broncos season-opening game.
