McCoy won't start for USC

LOS ANGELES -- Anthony McCoy (ankle) won't start at tight end for USC. He'll be replaced by Rhett Ellison.

That doesn't rule him out of playing, though.

No. 2 tight end Blake Ayles (ankle/knee) is out.

Also for USC, true freshman Devon Kennard will start at strongside linebacker in place of Michael Morgan (wrist), and Shane Horton will start for Malcolm Smith (shoulder) at weakside linebacker.
