Oregon and UCLA recruiting news and notes

Dontae Williams (Houston/Aldine), ESPNU's No. 12 running back, told ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com that he has committed to Oregon.

The 5-foot-11, 198-pound prospect visited Oregon and Minnesota. He also considered California, Purdue, Texas A&M and Arkansas.

And analyst JC Shurburtt takes a look at UCLA's strong recruiting effort.
