For some, Washington State's remote location is looked at as a negative. Not Mike Leach.

Leach is a big fan of the Palouse's proximity to several good fishing and hunting locations around the Northwest, and that was absolutely a factor in his decision to take the Wazzu job in 2011.

On Thursday, he provided a glimpse at what an ideal offseason day looks like when he tweeted a picture of a monster sturgeon alongside outside receivers coach Dennis Simmons, director of football operations Antonio Huffman, director of player relations Jarrail Jackson and outside linebackers coach Paul Volero.

Call it reason No. 348 (or something like that) WSU and Leach are good fits for each other.
