Oregon State's senior linebacker Keith Pankey ruptured his right Achilles tendon during a running drill this week, an injury that might force him to miss the 2010 season, according to an athletic department source.
Pankey, who has a redshirt year available, has started 13 games in his career but served as Dwight Roberson's backup last year, though the two mostly rotated. He was seventh on the Beavers with 44 tackles, with 4.5 coming for a loss.
Roberson also will be a senior in 2010.
