ESPN draft guru Todd McShay published his first look at the 2011 NFL draft Wednesday, and three Pac-10 players are projected to be among the top-nine selections.
McShay has Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck going No. 1 overall to the Buffalo Bills, with USC defensive tackle Jurrell Casey going sixth to the Carolina Panthers and Washington quarterback Jake Locker going ninth to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Luck is a third-year sophomore and Casey a junior, so McShay is projecting both will opt to enter the draft early.
McShay also lists Oregon State's senior defensive tackle Stephen Paea at second best among the top remaining defensive prospects not projected among his top-32 picks.
