Halftime: Arizona St. 20, Washington St. 16

Arizona State leads at intermission, but Washington State has the numbers.

A touchdown drive just before the half got the Sun Devils the lead back, but the Cougars have outgained the Sun Devils 302 yards to 194.

The Sun Devils only have 14 yards rushing, and Cougars receiver Marquess Wilson owned the first half with five catches for 145 yards, including two touchdowns, one of which covered 85 yards.

Freshman Connor Halliday replaced Marshall Lobbestael at quarterback for Washington State and completed 10 of 16 passes for 225 yards with two TDs.

Still, the Sun Devils are in position to retake control of the Pac-12 South Division after UCLA lost at Utah.
