Four Pac-12 DBs on Thorpe list

The Jim Thorpe Award announced its watch list on Friday -- I was on an airplane headed east -- and four Pac-12 players were included.

The Thorpe award is given annually to the nation's best defensive back.

You can see the entire list here. Here are the Pac-12 players on the list.

John Boyett, S, Oregon
T.J. McDonald, S, USC
Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
Nickell Robey, CB, USC

The list by conference: ACC (3); Big 12 (4); Big East (3); Big Ten (4); C-USA (4); MAC (4); MWC (1); Pac-12 (4); SEC (5); SBC (2); and WAC (1).
