Pac-12 Enterprises has reached an agreement with Wave Broadband for carriage of Pac-12 Bay Area, Pac-12 Washington and Pac-12 Oregon to subscribers in the Sacramento, Seattle and Portland areas.

From the press release:
Wave Broadband is a part of WaveDivision Holdings, which includes Astound, offering Pac-12 National and Pac-12 Regional Networks to its customers in their service areas as announced Monday. Collectively, WaveDivision Holdings serves over 325,000 subscribers in Northern California, Washington and Oregon, and will offer networks dedicated solely to the Pac-12 Conference and its member institutions.

One Pac-12 national network and the Pac-12 regional network that aligns with customers’ area college will be available to Wave Broadband Basic customers starting August 15, when the new networks launch. The new agreement allows subscribers to enjoy the hundreds of live sporting events, including football games, more than 130 men’s basketball games and other specialty content that will be featured on the Pac-12 Networks.

“We are delighted to offer our customers the Pac-12 Networks’ compelling, sought-after events and programming from the Pac-12 conference; this is truly a testimonial of our commitment to delivering the quality programming our customers ask for,” said Arah Peck, CMO of Wave Broadband. “Our commitment to delivering the programming our customers want at the best possible value will continue to be a pledge to our customers.”

And, no, we have no updates on the negotiations with various satellite carriers.
