The Cougars have only played in Las Vegas once before, a 40-13 win in 1991. In the game, Drew Bledsoe ran for two touchdowns and also threw for one and the Cougars saw Jason Hanson set an NCAA record with a 62- yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
California (1-1) at No. 12 Ohio State (2-0) noon, ABC: Ohio State leads the series 5-1 but the teams haven't played since 1972, a 35-18 Buckeyes victory. Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller has accounted for seven touchdowns, passing for three and rushing for four.

Arizona State (2-0) at Missouri (1-1) 7 p.m., ESPN2: The series is split 3-3, with the Sun Devils winning 37-30 in overtime last season in Tempe. ASU is 0-2 in Columbia. The Tigers left the Big 12 for the SEC this season, and the Sun Devils are 0-5 all-time against SEC schools.
No. 2 USC (2-0) at No. 21 Stanford (2-0) 7:30 p.m., FOX: Stanford is USC's oldest current rival, as the teams first played in 1905. The Trojans have dropped three in a row in the series and four of the past five, including last year in triple overtime and at the gun in 2010. USC has never lost four straight to Stanford.
Colorado (0-2) at Fresno State (1-1) 8 p.m., CBS Sports Network: This will be the sixth meeting between Colorado and Fresno State, but the first between the two schools at Bulldog Stadium. Colorado leads the series 4-1. The Bulldogs' only victory came in 2001, 24-22, behind quarterback David Carr.

The Utes have won seven of the last 10 games with the Cougars, including a 54-10 victory in Provo last year. Utah has won four of the last five contests in Salt Lake City. Utah and BYU competed in the same conference for 113 years until parting ways last year when the Utes began membership in the Pac-12 Conference and the Cougars went independent.
