It seemed reasonable to wonder if Stanford would be down against Arizona State after losing consecutive Pac-10 games.

Nope.

Instead, the Sun Devils offense and quarterback Danny Sullivan, who is from the Bay Area and has friends and family in attendance, are struggling.

Badly.

Stanford leads 24-0 at halftime, and it is dominating every area.

The Sun Devils defense that ranks seventh in the nation? It's yielded 300 yards to the Cardinal.

That Cardinal defense that has struggled so badly of late? It's held the Sun Devils to 99 yards and four first downs.

Sullivan is 5 for 11 for 49 yards. Meanwhile, redshirt freshman Andrew Luck is 12 of 19 for 189 yards.

Might we see true freshman Brock Osweiler in the second half?
