Been a while since we've done a recruiting roundup. That whole football season kind of got in the way. Here's where the Pac-12 teams stand.

ARIZONA

2013 verbal commitments: 26
Spotlight: The Wildcats weren't particularly active during the football season -- but they picked up a big commit in four-star athlete Mario Alford (Greenville, Ga.). The scouting report guys just posted this on him a couple of weeks ago and it looks promising. The words "blur," "smart" and "mismatch" appear.

ARIZONA STATE

2013 verbal commitments: 19
Spotlight: One thing the Sun Devils could have used this past year was some more depth in the secondary. Jayme Otomewo (Los Angeles) is a rangy safety with good size at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Scouts say he's a sound tackler -- and with ASU's multiple-front, pressure defense, he seems like the kind of player who could go downhill one play and cover a slot receiver the next.

CALIFORNIA

2013 verbal commitments: 20
Spotlight: At 6-5, 205 pounds, Dannon Cavil gives new head coach Sonny Dykes a lot of options. He's fast for his size and could be a fantastic slot receiver over the middle. Or he could pack on the weight and become a tight end. Lots of options and possibilities for this four-star prospect.

ESPN 300 members: 3 (Jared Goff, QB, Kentfield, Calif.; Dannon Cavil, WR, San Antonio; Cameron Hunt, OT, Corona, Calif.)

COLORADO

2013 verbal commitments: 12
Spotlight: It looks like the Buffs are going to be a pistol offense, which bodes well for redshirt freshman Shane Dillon and 2013 commit Sefo Liufau (Tacoma, Wash.). Both are dual-threat guys and if Liufau is as advertised, he could make a push for an immediate appearance. He's part of an outstanding crop of Washington quarterbacks that includes Max Browne (USC), Billy Green (BYU), Kolney Cassel (SMU) and Isaac Dotson (Nevada).

OREGON

2013 verbal commitments: 13
Spotlight: The most impressive thing about Tyree Robinson's highlight clip is the way he goes up and snatches the football out of the air. At 6-3, he's got the height to outjump most defenders. But the best part about Robinson is that there are two of him. Twin brother Tyrell Robinson is on board, also.

ESPN 300 members: 4 (Evan Voeller, OT, West Linn, Ore.; Tyree Robinson, WR, San Diego)

OREGON STATE

2013 verbal commitments: 15
Spotlight: Skyler Phillips (Eugene, Ore.) is big. Six-foot-3, 338 pounds big. And if you watch the highlights from the Nike SPARQ Combine (at the 58 second mark) you'll see he's got pretty darn good upper-body strength. Oregon State's offensive line was solid in 2012 and Mike Riley has shown he's not afraid to play true freshmen on the line. He could be an impact guy -- though a college training program will likely help him reshape some of the weight.

STANFORD

2013 verbal commitments: 10
Spotlight: The Cardinal lost one ESPN 150 player when linebacker Isaac Savaiinaea decommitted last month. But they picked up another in athlete Greg Taboada (Atlanta). He could be a defensive end or outside linebacker -- or even switch over to tight end.
ESPN 150 members: 2 (Ryan Burns, QB, Ashburn Va.; Greg Taboada, Ath., Atlanta)
ESPN 300 members: 4 (Peter Kalambayi, OLB, Matthews, N.C.; Francis Owusu, WR, Westlake Village, Calif.)

UCLA

2013 verbal commitments: 19
Spotlight: The Bruins have nabbed a couple of big-time offensive linemen, but the recent switch of USC wide receiver commit Eldridge Massington to the Bruins means a big-time target for Brett Hundley. His size makes him a big matchup problem and he's the third Bruin commit from Texas.
ESPN 150 members: 1 (Deon Hollins Jr., OLB, Missouri City, Texas)
ESPN 300 members: 4 (Eldridge Massington, WR, Mesquite, Texas; Scott Quessenberry, OL, Carlsbad, Ca.; John Lopez, OG, Orange, Calif.)

USC

2013 verbal commitments: 16
Spotlight: Despite the loss of Massington, the Trojans still have a class filthy with talent. Su'a Cravens (Murrieta, Calif.) headlines the group and could be a safety, linebacker or an in-between hybrid. Here's the latest scouting report on Cravens.
ESPN 150 members: 11 (Kenny Bigelow, DT, Elkton, Md.; Su'a Cravens, S, Murrieta, Calif.; Max Browne, QB, Sammamish, Wash.; Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, Auburn, Calif.; Jalen Ramsey, CB, Brentwood, Tenn.; Michael Hutchings, OLB, Concord, Calif.; Ty Isaac, RB, Joliet, Ill.; Chris Hawkins, CB, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; Kylie Fitts, DE, Redlands, Calif.; Steven Mitchell, WR, Mission Hills, Calif.; Sebastian LaRue, WR, Santa Monica, Calif.)
ESPN 300 members: 15; Jason Hatcher, DE, Louisville, Ky.; Justin Davis, RB, Stockton, Calif.; Nico Falah, OT, Bellflower, Calif.; Torrodney Prevot, DE, Houston)

UTAH

2013 verbal commitments: 27
Spotlight: Four-star cornerback Davion Orphey could be an immediate impact player in the secondary and has already signed out of Santa Ana College. He's the lone four-star, but the Utes also lured him away from BYU, and that makes getting him extra special. Here's the latest scouting report on Orphey that came out over the weekend.

WASHINGTON

2013 verbal commitments: 20
Spotlight: Safety Trevor Walker (Arlington, Texas) is the latest commit of what is shaping up to be a very good class. He's a bit under the radar because he doesn't have the top-end speed, but at 5-11, 190, he has good size and ball skills. He was a Washington State commit but dropped the Cougars last summer. Here's the latest scouting report on Walker.
ESPN 150 members: 1 (Damore'ea Stringfellow, WR, Morena Valley, Calif.)
ESPN 300 members: 4 (Troy Williams, QB, Harbor City, Calif.; Darrell Daniels, WR, Oakley, Calif.; Elijah Qualls, DT, Petaluma, Calif.)

WASHINGTON STATE

2013 verbal commitments: 23
Spotlight: With four four-star players, the 2013 class could be a nice one for Mike Leach. Quarterback Tyler Bruggman (Phoenix) is the No. 22-rated pocket passer in the country and could be Leach's quarterback of the future.
