While the Pac-12 coaches have been rolling through the ESPN offices Wednesday and Thursday, the conference's official media day will be Friday in Los Angeles.
Most of the questions -- good and bad -- are predictable and redundant. Still, there are big issues that fans and media are hoping the coaches open up about, at least to the limited degree that coaches open up.
What do you think are the biggest questions for the Pac-12 coaches this week?
At Oregon, the big issue is Mark Helfrich's promotion from offensive coordinator to replace Chip Kelly. How might the Ducks look different with Helfrich in charge?
Meanwhile, back up in the Northwest, Steve Sarkisian is trying to get Washington over the seven-win hump. The key to that is his quarterback. Will Keith Price regain his 2011 form after a down season last fall?
The Huskies' Apple Cup rival, Washington State, had plenty of questions in Year 2 under Mike Leach. While many thought Leach would lead a turnaround in Year 1, the Cougars' season was a struggle from the get-go. The big question for the Cougs, then, is whether Leach has the talent and team culture to get the Cougars back to consistently competitive.
