ESPN.com's initial "Heisman Watch" poll has been published, and Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota leads four Pac-12 players who made the list.

Mariota ranked fifth, behind South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel -- the 2012 winner, you might have heard -- and Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron.

The other Pac-12 players on the list are: USC receiver Marqise Lee (eighth), Oregon running back/receiver De'Anthony Thomas (11th) and UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley (13th).

The list was compiled from votes from 16 panelist, including Kevin and myself.

This was my vote: 1. Manziel; 2. Mariota, 3. Lee; 4. Miller; 5. Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

And this was Kevin's: 1. Clowney; 2. Manziel; 3. Mariota; 4. Lee; 5. Bridgewater.

Mariota got two first-place votes, while Lee's highest vote was No. 2.
