Rick Neuheisel vs. Lane Kiffin figures to be great fun.
Both coaches like to talk smack. Both want to own Los Angeles.
And UCLA's Neuheisel fired his first jab at Kiffin while USC was pounding UCLA in basketball on Saturday.
"We respect what USC has done the last few years," Neuheisel told the LA Daily News. "But there's change now. Until the new regime proves itself, we believe we have every right to claim this city."
You could almost picture Neuheisel driving up to Heritage Hall clicking three bottles together, singing, "Kiffin, come out to play-yay! Kiffin, come out to play-ya!"
If your are too young for that quote, look it up on YouTube. You may even see a passing resemblance to the present situation.
