Senior Johnny Forzani, perhaps Washington State's fastest receiver, has left the team, a school spokesman confirmed.
No reason was given for Forzani's departure.
He caught nine passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, one of which was a school-record 99-yarder against Arizona State.
Here's a note from Vince Grippi's blog on the matter.
While the loss of Forzani is a hit to the receiving corps' overall speed, it's worth noting that the Cougars still welcome back their top four receivers from 2009.
