Quick previews: Pac-10 Week 6
By ESPN.com staff
Here's a quick look at Week 6 in the Pac-10. All games Saturday. All times are ET.
UCLA (3-2, 1-1) at California (2-2, 0-1), FSN, 3:30 p.m.: The winner likely pushes into the top half of the conference. How will Cal handle its second shot at a pistol offense? Up next: Cal is at USC; UCLA is off.
No. 3 Oregon (5-0, 2-0) at Washington State (1-4, 0-2), 5 p.m.: How long will Chip Kelly keep his starters in the game? Or will the Cougs put up enough of a fight to keep this one interesting? Up next: Oregon is off; Washington State plays host to Arizona.
Oregon State (2-2, 1-0) at No. 9 Arizona (4-0, 1-0), Versus, 7 p.m.: The winner here shows itself to be a contender at the top of the conference. The Wildcats have lost nine of 11 to the Beavers, though they won in Corvallis last year. Up next: Arizona is at Washington State; Oregon State is at Washington.
USC (4-1, 1-1) at No. 16 Stanford (4-1, 1-1), ABC, 8 p.m.: Both teams are coming off their first defeat. Last year, Stanford humiliated USC. Will the Trojans be hungry for revenge? Or will they be flat? And how does Stanford bounce back after a disappointing showing at Oregon. Up next: USC plays host to California; Stanford is off.
Arizona State (2-3, 0-2) at Washington (2-2, 1-0), FSN, 10 p.m.: This feels like a must-win game for both teams' bowl hopes. The Sun Devils have been close while losing three straight. The Huskies regained the mojo they lost versus Nebraska at USC. Up next: Arizona State is off; Washington plays host to Oregon State.
