Are you ready for some (sort of) football?
By ESPN.com staff
Well, not real football but the next best thing for you gamers.
Mark Ingram, the former Alabama running back and 2009 Heisman Trophy winner, has been chosen by fans to be featured on the cover of EA SPORTS" NCAAź Football 12, which will be released July 12. Ingram beat out a list of former standouts that included Washington quarterback Jake Locker.
A newly released trailer for the game has plenty of Pac-12 presence, particularly Oregon and USC, as well as the new logo and a Ralphie charge.
Here's what EA Sports says about the new game.
NCAA Football 12 takes the journey of the college athlete to the next level of depth and authenticity. Experience the pride and pageantry of gameday Saturday like never before as players go from high school superstar to top college player to head coach in the Road to Glory and Dynasty modes.
