Pac-12 helmet stickers: Week 14
By Ted Miller
Who gets a helmet sticker for a job well done?
LaMichael James, Oregon: The running back is now on the short list of best running backs in Pac-12 history. The 2010 Doak Walker winner is the first conference back to rush for 1,500 yards three consecutive seasons, which I rate as pretty monumental. As for this little ole helmet sticker, James had 219 yards and three touchdowns in the Ducks' 49-31 victory over UCLA in the Pac-12 championship game.
Michael Clay, Oregon: The Ducks linebacker had six tackles and two sacks against UCLA. He also forced and recovered a fumble.
Nelson Rosario, UCLA: The Bruins receiver caught six passes for 98 yards with two touchdowns in the loss to Oregon. And if you watched the game, you know his second TD is why he's here. Incredible catch.
Washington State AD Bill Moos: He fired Paul Wulff and there was a bit of a, "Hmm." It certainly didn't feel good. Then Moos hired Mike Leach, who seems like a perfect fit in Pullman. Great things happen when you make a bold move. There are no guarantees that Leach will be successful. But there's buzz now about the Cougars that hasn't been there for years.
