Who's going to win? Week 5 Pac-10 picks

Who's going to win? Heck if I know. Went 3-2 last week. The season record limps along at 22-9.
I like home teams this week.
California 24, USC 21: Call me nuts, but I continue to believe the Golden Bears are an elite football team. USC's injury situation also is worrisome. Again, feel free to call me nuts.
Stanford 21, UCLA 17: UCLA has a strong defense and a middling offense. The guess here is Stanford's balanced offense and middling defense will have enough -- playing at home -- to nip the Bruins.
Arizona State 20, Oregon State 16: Would feel much more comfortable picking the Sun Devils if their offensive line were healthy. And my inclination is to bet against the Beavers' futility in Tempe that stretches back to 1969. That luck seems ripe for a change. But got to admit I stared at the Vegas line -- ASU favored by between 4.5 to 6 points -- and couldn't pull the trigger on the Beavers.
Notre Dame 38, Washington 24: The Huskies should be able to score but can they stop Jimmy Clausen and the Irish at home? Probably not, even if Clausen's got a bum toe.
Oregon 40, Washington State 17: Another big afternoon for the Ducks. The Cougars go with true freshman Jeff Tuel at quarterback, but he's running an offense with an injury-ravaged offensive line.
