Pac-12 has three Mackey semifinalists

The John Mackey Award, presented annually to the top tight end in college football, has announced its eight semifinalists. Three of the eight hail from the Pac-12 conference. In alphabetical order, the semifinalists are:
The finalists will be announced next Monday. The last player from the conference to win the award was USC's Fred Davis in 2007. UCLA's Marcedes Lewis won in 2005.
Ertz leads Stanford in receiving with 47 catches for 641 yards and five touchdowns. Seferian-Jenkins leads the Huskies in receiving yards and Fauria leads the Bruins with nine touchdown receptions.
