Oregon alone atop Pac-10 after win
By ESPN.com staff
No LeGarrette Blount. And it wasn't terribly pretty. But Oregon took care of business against Arizona State, 44-21.
Blount didn't play after being reinstated after his suspension, but a good reason why was on display as LaMichael James rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns against one of the nation's top run defenses.
Oregon visits Arizona on Saturday in a critical game in the Pac-10 race. Both teams control their own conference destiny. So winning that one will be key -- that whole destiny thing.
Arizona State may have an interesting quarterback situation this year, and going forward. With senior Danny Sullivan out with an injury, and true freshman Brock Osweiler knocked out in the first half, sophomore Samson Szakacsy came off the bench and threw for a touchdown and ran for another, transforming a blowout -- it was 31-7 at the half -- into a game.
Which guy will play next week at UCLA and who's the guy in 2010?
