Arizona unites with ASU, agrees to pummel UTSA

Arizona State's archrival is going to get a crack at University of Texas-San Antonio even before the Sun Devils do.
Arizona has signed a contract for a three-game series with the Roadrunners from 2013-15, UTSA announced Tuesday.
The teams will meet in Tucson on Sept. 14, 2013, at the Alamodome on Sept. 6, 2014, and again at Arizona Stadium on Sept. 5, 2015.
The Wildcats are the third FBS team to sign a game contract with UTSA, joining Arizona State and Baylor.
“What an exciting time for UTSA football,” Roadrunners coach Larry Coker said in a statement. “We feel like we are putting together some challenging future schedules for our program, and to be able to bring teams like Baylor, Arizona and Arizona State into the Alamodome is something our fans can really enjoy. Arizona is a top-flight program and Mike Stoops has done a great job with that program over the past few years. It will be a tremendous challenge to play a team of that caliber, but it will only make us better.”
