Over the weekend, new ASU head coach Todd Graham set his full-time coaching organizational chart.

Here's how Graham's coaching staff looks:

DEFENSE

• Paul Randolph: Senior Associate Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line
• Ron West: Co-Defensive Coordinator, Inside Linebackers
• Chris Ball: Defensive Backs, Defensive Passing Game Coordinator
• Joe Lorig: Outside Linebackers, Defensive Special Teams Coordinator

OFFENSE

• Mike Norvell: Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks
• Bob Connelly: Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Line

Arizona State has officially hired Ron West to its coaching staff, but the Sun Devils still haven't announced his -- or any other new assistants' -- responsibilities. It is presumed that West will be the Sun Devils' co-defensive coordinator with Paul Randolph, who was co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach last season at Pittsburgh.

West worked for ASU coach Todd Graham previously at Tulsa. New Mexico was his first job in the west.

West was hired away from New Mexico, where he'd been named defensive coordinator by new coach Bob Davie just a few weeks ago. He spent the previous two seasons at Illinois.

In 2011, the Fighting Illini finished seventh in the nation in total defense with West's linebackers helping to lead the charge, allowing just 286.15 total yards per game and holding its opponents to just 4.42 yards per play. Illinois was third in passing yards allowed per game at 162.31, and finished 26th in rushing yards allowed per game at 123.85.

It appears that Arizona State is going West to find a co-defensive coordinator, according to a report.

Former Illinois assistant Ron West, who was named New Mexico's defensive coordinator just last month by new Lobos coach Bob Davie, is headed to Tempe, according to the Albuquerque Journal.

"Over the weekend, Ron received an offer from Arizona State and accepted it," Davie said in a statement to the newspaper. "I'm disappointed but I certainly understand the business aspect of this profession. Coach West made a decision he felt was best for his family, and we wish him the best of luck in the future."

While the Sun Devils haven't announced specific responsibilities for their assistant coaches, Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic reports that "West likely will share defensive coordinating duties with Paul Randolph, who was co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach last season at Pittsburgh."

House of Sparky points out that "West's hiring would have completed Graham's staff, but last week running backs coach Chris Thomsen left Tempe to take over the offensive line coaching duties at Texas Tech."
