Charting Eagles' highly improbable win

December, 9, 2013
This win-probability chart prepared by Doug Clawson of ESPN Stats & Information graphically illustrates the radical swings during the Eagles' 34-20 comeback win over the Detroit Lions Sunday. After Jeremy Ross returned a punt 58 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter, the Eagles' win probability dropped to a game-low 6.1 percent. The flurry of touchdowns in the beginning of the fourth quarter resulted in that red-and-blue criss-crossing toward the right. The blue line at top right kind of resembles Brent Celek's snowy slide at the 10-yard line.
