A weekly examination of the Eagles' ESPN.com Power Ranking:

Preseason: 25 | Last Week: 11 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002

ESPN.com's six-person panel didn’t overreact to the Philadelphia Eagles' 54-11 trouncing of the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. In fact, the panel didn't react at all. Maybe they were catching up on "Homeland" or wrapping Christmas presents.

The Eagles were ranked 11th last week, after their 48-30 loss at Minnesota. They are ranked 11th this week. The Bears were ranked 13th last week. They are ranked 13th this week.

If the Eagles beat the 15th-ranked Cowboys Sunday, they will host a first-round playoff game. All of their possible opponents –- No. 3 Carolina, No. 4 San Francisco, No. 6 New Orleans and No. 9 Arizona -- are ranked above them. And the Eagles beat Arizona back on Dec. 1.
