Both of those games are on the road, and neither one will be easy.
The combined record from last season of the Eagles’ opponents from Weeks 5 through 9 is 26-38.
The Eagles host the St. Louis Rams on Oct. 5 and then welcome the New York Giants one week later on Oct. 12. Following a bye, the Eagles travel West to meet the Arizona Cardinals. Then on Nov. 2, they play at Houston and new coach Bill O’Brien. The Texans finished 2-14 and lost their final 14 games.
This is clearly a very winnable stretch for the most part before the schedule begins to get much more difficult.
