The Steelers will begin making final cuts the next day with teams having to set their 53-man rosters by the end of the afternoon on Aug. 30.
The Steelers open preseason play against the Giants, marking the second year in a row the two storied franchises meet in their exhibition opener.
The Steelers host the Bills in the second week of preseason action and travel to Philadelphia for their third exhibition game, which is the final one in which starters on both teams receive significant playing time.
