Remember the fuss about Robert Griffin III covering up the Nike swoosh on his base-layer shirt, which earned him a scolding from the NFL?
Turns out he's not alone.
The latest star quarterback to engage in a swoosh-ectomy is Tom Brady, who appeared at a Wednesday media session with a strip of tape covering the Nike logo on his sweatshirt:
Brady has an endorsement deal with Under Armour, which explains the cover-up move. Of course, he can't conceal the swooshes on his game jersey, so he gets a mulligan on that one. But check this out: He's been wearing Nike Pro Combat underwear! You can bet that isn't going to go over well with Brady's endorsement partners -- he's taking the "Under" out of Under Armour.
