There's no doubt all eyes will be tonight's game. The Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs will battle for SEC supremacy at the Georgia Dome.
Bama standout offensive lineman Barrett Jones, a fifth-year senior, recently chatted with The Mag about Halloween costumes, celebrity crushes and pregame music.
Who would play you in your biopic?
My favorite actor, Tom Hanks. No resemblance whatsoever, and he’d have to put on a heckuva lot of weight, but he did beef up for "Castaway."
What is the biggest misconception about you?
That offensive lineman are all fat and unathletic. Not true. We are athletic. But yes, we’re fat. A little bit.
What was your best Halloween costume?
In seventh grade, I dressed up as a blind referee. I wore the uniform, with sunglasses and a walking cane. I thought that was pretty funny.
Who is your celebrity crush?
For a long time it was Erin Andrews, but I’ve met her now, and after you meet your crush you don’t seem them as a “celebrity” anymore. Plus, it was awkward. I’m usually pretty smooth, but I didn’t play that one very well.
What is your pregame pump-up song?
I don’t listen to music before games. I like to stay cool, keep my emotions down and pray some. But mostly I visualize the plays and stay focused.
