You might be a redneck if … you attend Saturday’s minor league baseball game in Charleston, W.Va.

That’s because the West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, are playing host to Redneck Night at the team’s game against the Kannapolis Intimidators.

“We’ve done a version of this several times over the years,” said Power spokesman Adam Marco. “This is the first year we’ve fully developed it.”

Here’s some of what’s in store:
  • Team logo camouflage caps will be given away to the first 1,000 fans through the turnstiles.
  • The self-proclaimed “World’s Strongest Redneck,” Steve McGranahan, will delight and astound the masses.
  • Appearance by the General Lee car of ”Dukes of Hazzard” fame
  • Cowboy monkey rodeo performed by friends of ESPN Playbook Tim “Wild Thing” Lepard and Team Ghost Riders
  • Actual redneck wedding of Spencer, W.Va, residents Christina Frye and Jamie Campbell.

The team hopes Redneck Night will ultimately earn the coveted Golden Bobblehead, awarded by minor league baseball to the franchise with the top promotion of the season.
